Holding Hands with Secrets

Holding Hands with Secrets is a poetry book that is broken into five parts: The Monster, The Prisoner, The Afflicter, The Healer, and The Reclaimer. Each one of these parts represents a person in the authors life and how they have affected her through topics such as sexual abuse, trauma, family troubles, mental health, heart break, love, acceptance and healing. Each poem was written carefully with raw emotion and thoughtfulness to make this novel about the author as faultless as possible. This story is similar to others and was written for the encouragement to share your own, while also finding a way to recover if needed.
