Struggling to pick up the pieces after her marriage falls apart, Trudy Marino finds support from a quirky group of friends -- the goddesses of Kitchen Avenue. There's fiery social worker Jade, and her grandmother, who has just lost her husband of sixty-two years. There's Shannelle, the aspiring writer determined to realize her dreams. And lastly, there's Angel, a young photographer who helps Trudy uncover a part of her she never knew.
